Djhoanna (DJ) and Richard are two of the nicest people that I've worked with. They were easy going, and pretty much up for anything that I threw at them. DJ, Richard and I met up a few months before their wedding to do their complimentary engagement session. They wanted to incorporate their kids into the pictures. That was such a wonderful idea. We had a great time shooting the pictures at Palace of Fine Art. The pictures turned out GREAT. DJ and Richard used a lot of them at their wedding. DJ and Richard got married at a church in San Mateo. The day started out with a ton of excitment. I met the couple at the Crowne Plaza in Foster City, where it was near the church. I showed up at the parking lot and first thing I realized was there's the groom! I waved and said hi, but the groom didn't really respond back to me. As if he didn't know me! What is going on?! He walked up to me and said..."Ah, you must be looking for my brother Richard". Oh my god, Richard has a twin brother that looks exactly like him. How funny! I made a fool out of myself (like always) :) The wedding was wonderful. It was a traditional Filipino Catholic wedding. There were so much traditions included like sponsors, veil, cords, coins, candles. Gotta love those great traditions. The reception was held at the Four Seasons in San Francisco. Can you say elegant?! Four Seasons got to be one of the nicest hotels in the city. They know weddings! The night went down without a hitch. We even get to do some shots around the city! Good luck to you guys again DJ and Richard!
DJ and Richard exchanging their vows. DJ almost cried!
I love these shots. See how relax they are after the ceremony?
We were able to run downstairs and snuck in a few shots next to a display window. This has a very urban feel to it.
I would like to thank Gene Higa for the referral!! Thanks Gene!!
