Down with a cold

The flu season has officially started...I caught a cold this week and now down at home resting. I was feeling ok yesterday all day, but today, I am down with this headache and sinus pressure. I even got a flu shot yesterday, do you think it is because of my flu shot?! I am terrified of needles, but every year at this time, I try to get a flu shot so I won't be down a week.

I need to get better so I can do my shoot tomorrow. I am excited to work with Ruby. Ruby is coming over to my studio and we'll spend a few hours together shooting. We'll probably spend an hour here at my studio, then head out to Walnut Creek downtown for some urban/cool relax shots. We'll see, it is supposed to rain :(

I will be picking up my new lights this evening from Ann Hamilton in San Francisco. It is going to be a ton of fun. I've always been a natural light photographer, but as I get more and more baby/family shoots in the winter, I need lighting source that I can trust, so lights is the only way to go. In California, we get sun most of the year, but in the winter, the sun is usually behind the clouds. It posts challenge if I try to shoot with window lights.
