Ben

I had a children session for Ben this weekend. Ben and I met a few months back, when he wasn't even sitting yet! This time, Ben sat up for pictures...how babies grow! The first time Ben and I met at his house, he wasn't very happy with me being there. He was tired. When babies are tired, they don't want to do ANYTHING! So we had to reschedule. We rescheduled to this weekend. This time, when I arrived, Ben was happy. He had his morning nap when I arrived :) ...makes my job easier ... heh... He was such a champ this time around. He smiled, he laughed, he even had a great time rolling around the bed in a nice comfy comforter!

This is common with children sessions. Kids will be kids and if they are tired, then they are tired. This is what I love about children photography, they are genuine. There's no acting, there's no faking it. If they are tired, they cry. If they are happy, they laugh and smile. Rescheduling is part of the game for children photography, but I usually remind the parents that to make sure their child(ren) are well fed and well rested the night before.
