I arrived at a very packed and joyous house in San Francisco. Friends and family were laughing and making fun of the groom and the groomsmen at the front door. This was the "opening the door" tradition in the Chinese culture. Lots of negotiation, dealing and wheeling before the family opens up the door for the groom to "pick up" the bride. This was the first "opening the door" ceremony that I have ever been in. It was fun to say the least!
The wedding party was so much fun that day. They were a bunch of clowns. We had a great time shooting. Props to Derek (my future groom in 2008)! He was the life of the crowd.
Love this shot. This was their first dance. The moment is priceless.
I met a great person that evening. Beverly Yip, owner of Especially Yours Chair Covers
She was energetic, hip and fun. Beverly and her crew do exceptional work. Beautiful seat covers. Couples, if you ever need chair covers, you know who to call!
