Joy of Sake

Once in a while, us wedding photographers get together to have a good time during the week (aka, our weekends). This time, John Griffin, Gene Higa and I hung out at downtown SF Hilton for a Joy of Sake event. I had no idea what to expect but hey, food and sake? I am game! It turned out to be one of the most fun events I've been to in a while. You enter the room and you see bottles and bottles of sakes. Literally any kind/flavor you can think of. From bubble Sake to flavored Sake. You name it, they got it. What is alcohol without food? well well well, they had the best San Francisco Japanese restaurants there to present their food too! From tuna poke hand roll (Gene's favorite) to salmon cake with ponzu sauce to tofu on a stick with a slap of miso...it was AWESOME! We had such a great time, we even finished the night by hanging out at the Cliff Hotel with a few mojitos.
