One of the most challenging part of my wedding photographer career is to continue to search for the next apprentice (aka Assistant). It is important to have someone that you trust, have good chemistry with and lastly, fun to be around for all the weddings that I do during the year. This is the time of the year that I visit colleges, talk to friends of friends, contact my previous workshop students...etc. and hopefully find someone(s) that have passion in learning the world of photography and having some fun at a few weddings :)
This year, I decided to use my blog as a vehicle to recruit my 2008 assistants since a lot of my previous and future clients follow my blog. Thank you all!
If you are (or know someone) that are interested in photography and willing to spend a few Saturdays (and sometimes Sundays) helping a photographer at weddings, send me an email and let me know why you are interested in working for and learning from me! I usually take anywhere from 3 to 5 assistants per year, so start writing me now! I look forward to hearing stories from ya!
