Everyone is always interested to know what is in photographers' bags. I am no exception. Clients , students and friends are always interested in what I shoot with at a wedding or a portrait session. I am a minimalist, so I don't carry a whole lot to a wedding or a session. I truly believe in less is more.
So here it is, everything that's in my bags (well, almost everything).

Wow, you are good, taking your time to point out all the ingredients in your goody bag. I pose this question on behalf of gear geeks. What is your favorite lens to use for wedding portraits or portraits in general? And what are your workhorse lens?
Alice - my favorite lens has to be the 70-200mm 2.8L. I noticed Canon just released a 200mm 2.0L today, which I am very interested in. I also fell in love with my new 50mm 1.2L. I used to shoot with a 50mm 1.4, but was never really happy with it until I got the 1.2. It is not the F-stop that matters, it is the L construction and the way the L lens handles flare.
Wish I'd had this as a little cheat sheet when I assisted you!
Augie, thanks for sharing what's in your bag, always great to peek into another photographer's bag! I think it's only a matter of time before I pick up the 50mm F/1.2 myself... Thanks again!
