...ah....not quite ... but I sure got your attention right?
I was so excited to have purchased my latest "baby" - the new MacBook Pro...woo hoo! I've had my 5 year old PowerBook G4 for the longest time and I am ready to move onto the 21st century. This is an amazing piece of art. Apple REALLY knows how to design their products. From the purchasing experience to the box to the packaging to the laptop, it is just amazing. It was not simply a purchase, it was an experience. That is how I want all of my customers to feel when they choose my photography service. Not only should I do a GREAT job on their pictures, but I want my clients to have the "AUGIE CHANG" experience. From the moment they walk into my studio, to their phone calls to me, to their emails, to the wedding date, to the products...it has to be perfect!
Anyhow, back to my new "baby", the amount of details that is put into this product ... whew. There is something to be learned from Apple.

congrats! I'm guessing you were waiting for the Penryn refresh, eh? I also noticed it looks like you chose a glossy screen over matte - I ended up going for matte, but it was hard to pass up the saturation effect of glossy :)
Chris - yes, was waiting for a refresh for a long long time. I finally broke down and bought this yesterday. I love the glossy screen.
Ooooohhhh! Aaaaahhhh! Wow!!!!
Love the new baby... does it have a name? Boy or girl?
sooo pretty! I love my MacBook. Joanie has a (older model) MacBook Pro too :)
Ooh, pretty! I've been contemplating about getting a MacBook, too, instead of another desktop -- especially not a PC! I need it for all my photography stuff, hence a whole lot of hard-drive space and memory. But, I just don't know which will suit my needs; dealers keep trying to sell me the most expensive stuff. Eeks!
