I have always been a very active person. Ever since I can remember, I have always been marginally close to being A.D.D. Biking, snowboarding, soccer, whatever requires me to run, jump, hop, I am usually there. As I aged (well, I am getting older), I am beginning to appreciate life in a slower pace. Especially having 2 kids (1 and 4 years of age), my life is all about juggling schedule and dealing with requests made by my two little ones, therefore I need to find my inner peace.
A few months ago, I enrolled myself in a yoga class (well, my dear friend Randhir suggested it for years). I was very skeptical about it since yoga to me is mainly a "girl thing". When you think about yoga, don't you think about women in many different awkward poses? well, that is still partly true, but there are also men in the class. I have to admit, now I LOVE yoga. It brings inner peace and also flexibility to my life. As we age, we all lose flexibility and sometimes inner peace. For me, this is the time for me think, and also time for me to breathe and relax. What I love about yoga is not only the exercise part, it is also the concentration part that I enjoy. If you have not tried yoga before, be open mind about it and give it a world! You never know what you'll get out of it!

I am glad you come to a realization that yoga is TOTALLY NOT a girl thing...or maybe you just didn't want to get your butt kick by a girl in your yoga class...hahahahaha!
Do you it only at the class or at home too? I loved it when i took a class several years ago, but couldn't get myself to do it outside of the class.
BLAH!
Yoga's for girls!
kidding
Alice - no, I am not scared of you girls kicking my butt :)
Aerial - I only do it in class. I still feel weird doing it outside the class
