Karolyn told me that she knew she wanted to have me as her photographer after she got engaged. I was honored and flattered since she booked me over the phone when Karolyn and Patrick were living in San Diego for Patrick's residency. Now, they moved to the east coast for Karolyn's continue education as a pharmacist.
The moment I met them in San Francisco a few months ago for their engagement session, I was convinced that they are truly in love. After doing this for almost 10 years, I have a feel of how couples are and perhaps will be. I can tell when I see a truly in-love couple.
Karolyn and Patrick had a long day on their wedding day. They started bright and early in the morning at Karolyn's parent's home in Union City. They had a Cambodian wedding ceremony there where Jason (my associate) captured every detail. Then shortly in the afternoon, these guys changed to their western wedding attired and had their western wedding ceremony in San Jose's beautiful Dolce Hayes Mansion (where I captured their evening). These two are such wonderful, nice, and genuinely kind people to work for.
