Elaine and Mack got married at the beautiful Mountain Winery in Saratoga. I think from all the venues that I've been, Mountain Winery has the best view in the bay area.
The day started out at the Cypress Hotel in Cupertino. The pace of the day was comfortable. I remember even commenting to Elaine that she seems so calm. It was a treat for me since many weddings are always tight with time. These are the times when I can get creative. My assistant Tammy and I were in the room, as always, I try to find new ways to shoot rings and shoes. This time, an interesting idea came to mind. I thought of catching the shoes in mid-air. To achieve this, I had to throw them on top of the hotel bed. I kept throwing it up and down when I finally caught Elaine's attention. She was wondering what we were doing!! While we were throwing things up and down the bed, we were all giggling. You will see the results below, but I was very happy with them.
Here is the shot of the "throwing shoes". It took me about 5 shots to get this "perfect" one.
