Aria & Elie

These girls are from Michigan. They were out here for a family vacation at their auntie's house in Palo Alto. Actually they are Mas and Tim's nieces. Aria (the older one) was not shy at all. When I walked into the house, she called me Mr. Augie! How cute! Her mom told me that is how they called their pre-school teachers. Mr this and Ms that. So I guess I was Mr. Augie for that morning.

Elie was a bit more shy because of her age. At the age of 8-10 months, children sometimes have stranger anxiety. This is very normal. As a children photographer, I understand the different stages in a child's life and learned to work around these "issues". We were hanging out there until Elie was comfortable with me. At the end of the morning, we were able to take lots of great photos of Elie.
