Joella and Mike is a very special couple to me. Maybe it was because we spent an entire day up at Tahoe shooting their engagement session, or it maybe fate (like Joella said). Whatever it is, I am so happy that I was there for their wedding date. On top of that, I am so thrilled that we have became friends.
The wedding started off at Joella and Mike's new home. Joella spent a great deal of time putting on her kimono (traditional Japanese outfit). It takes approximately 30-50 mins just to get into a kimono. Since timing was an issue, we did group photos prior to their ceremony. The ceremony was held at the San Jose Corinthian Center. It is a beautiful location in the heart of San Jose. What I enjoy the most is getting to know the wedding party. I usually end up having a great time at the end of the night with the groomsmen and bridesmaids.
I love the details of her shoes.
This is a Japanese tradition. The couple breaks a barrel of sake (Japanese rice wine).
