Terri & Ryan - Bentley Reserve (a.k.a. Old Federal Reserve), San Francisco

Terri, Ryan and I became pretty good friends through this entire wedding process. I showed up at Terri's room at the Le Meridian in the morning and immediately felt like I was seeing my sister getting ready for her wedding day. I had such a great time getting to know the ladies in the room.

I usually start my coverage 2 hrs before a couple's ceremony and Terri and Ryan's wedding is no exception. When I walked into the room, as usual, all the girls were trying to get their makeup, lotion, dress all ready to go. As I walked into the room, one of the bridesmaids was sitting there, 1/2 dressed with a white towel around her. She sat there looking into the mirror. I think I actually scared her when I walked in with a loud "hhhhhelllllllo!!!!". I introduced myself, she looked at me and introduced herself back (she was holding her towel up while trying to shake my hand with the other). She was embarrassed I can tell. I was wondering why she was still sitting there in front of the mirror after our introduction and all. Minutes later, I realized that she was sitting there waiting for her tanning lotion to dry!!! OK, ladies, tell me something. Aren't you supposed to put these tanning lotions the day before or sometimes DAYS before??

I promised this bridesmaid that I won't mention her name on my blog ... you probably have to be there to see the humor in this!!
